May 26, 2016

I am so excited to reveal the amazing cover for Book One in The Helios Chronicles, entitled Helios Awakened. The cover was designed by Winyan Press illustrator Alex Marin who really hit it out of the park with this one. It was important to me that the cover convey something very significant for my two … More COVER REVEAL: Helios Awakened

Cover Reveal: Shattered Glass

October 17, 2015

I had this story in my head for about a year but it was a bit darker than I normally write. I actually considered writing it as a full length novel but didn’t think I had it in me to write this dark for a whole piece so I set it aside thinking I would … More Cover Reveal: Shattered Glass

Seated and ready for @alexwarren. We unfortunately had to switch out our row 8 seats (way too many stairs!) for row 26 but its okay. We can still hear him and see him! I'm so excited to see the Dodgers play. I moved to South Dakota in 2002, which was the last time I've seen my boys live. Bringing Deanna, because she must fulfill her third generation Dodger fan legacy, like her brother, Jordan did 😂 #GoDodgers Yesterday was the second day of @midwestbookishfest and it was amazing. We started out with me being on the Psychology of Suspense panel, which was a lot of fun. My fellow presenters were awesome and have written some amazing books. We then headed to the Sinister Sunday Brunch where Deanna was channeling witchy vibes. After that, was the second signing of the weekend. We did well and almost sold out which we've never done before. We ended the night with a much needed dip in the hot tub. This event was even better than last year which we thought was phenomenal. Thank you, Midwest Bookish for a fantastic time. It was a busy day at @midwestbookishfest. First I was on a panel called Good Girl: Why We Love A Villain which was a lot of fun. Then we had our first signing and had a blast talking to people about our books. We ended the night at the Fates and Starlight Masquerade Ball where we got a Tarot Reading, and Deanna did the glam bot (?), and then she busted a move on the dance floor. We are both tired, but looking forward to tomorrow's events We are ready for the first day at @midwestbookishfest.
