Let’s Go 2025

Hey everyone, well 2024 is finally over with. There was definitely a lot of good and of course some bad as well. That happens in life. Let me take a moment to highlight some of my accomplishments in 2024 and what I have in the works for 2025.

2024 in the Books!

Firstly, I published two books. Both in my Paranormal Romance series, Eternally Destined. Midnight (Book 1) and Kariwase (Book 2) are done. The series is an interconnected tale of three supernatural beings as they grapple with friendship, love, and the many changes in life across centuries. Midnight is my horse shifter and Kariwase is my Native vampire. I worked hard to try and get Thaddeus (Book 3) out but that was not quite possible.

Secondly, I was signed up to attend six book signings in 2024 but was only able to attend five. Oh man, I was on the move. First one was in February where I attended Romance Atlanta in Douglasville, Georgia. It was a well put together signing that I will happily attend again. Next was the Capital City Author Event in May. It was so much fun. It took place in Montgomery, Alabama so Deanna and I took the opportunity to explore the state a bit, and have some fun with our friends. Next up was in June at UtopiaCON in Nashville, Tennessee. This was an event I had always wanted to attend. It was fun and I was glad to finally cross it off of my bucket list. My next signing was in September at Authors in the Steel City in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. As a die hard Steelers fan I can’t tell you how exciting this was. I embraced my Steelers pride at the signing and even toured the stadium. My next signing was postponed due to that darn Hurricane Milton but I’ll get there next year. Finally, in October I attended the Indie Romance Convention in Lebanon, Tennessee. It was the final IRC signing so I was happy to spend time with my friends and make some new ones.

Finally, my daughter, Deanna was asked to serve as princess for the University of South Dakota’s annual Wacipi for a second year in a row. Needless to say we attended a great deal of pow wows. Oh, and did I mention that I had knee surgery? While I was happy to get both knees done (Left one in October 2023, right one in April 2024) it slowed a lot of writing down for me. I was under the delusion that I would be able to write a lot while I healed. That DID NOT happen. I was in too much pain so my writing scheduled got pushed back.

2025 Here I Come!

So what’s in store for 2025? Well, for starters I will be finishing up three of my series. Thaddeus (Book 3) of my paranormal romance trilogy, Eternally Destined will be out in the 1st quarter. I will finish my crime suspense series, the Talionic Files with Justice Served (Book 3) in the 2nd quarter. I will have Twisted Sorrow (Book 5) of my paranormal young adult series, the Diakrisis Tales, which will be the last in the series, out by the 3rd quarter. I am also playing with the idea of a possible urban fantasy series with my daughter, Deanna. We are still formulating it so we will see if it happens this year or next. I am also planning on writing a historical romance book that my new friend Norah challenged me to write. I have the basic premise done but it’s not mapped out yet.

Signings, yep, I’ll be hitting six book signings this year. In April, I will be attending Lucky in Lombard in Lombard, Illinois. This signing was formerly called Cuffed in Chicago. I had wanted to attend this one for a while so I’m excited to go. In June, I will be attending Midwest Bookish Fest in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is a new signing but it sounds like a lot of fun with several different little things happening. In August (during my birthday weekend), I will be attending the Be Love, Spread Love signing in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a new to me signing that I’m looking forward to attending. In October, I have a double header. First, I’ll be at the Orlando Reads Books event in Altamonte Springs, Florida and the following weekend, I’ll attend TropiCon in Pensacola Beach, Florida. Finally, in November, I will be attending Flirty in Iowa in Des Moines, Iowa. I’ve never been to this one but its run by anytime author promotions which I haven’t had a bad experience with so I’m looking forward to attending this one.

Please, please, please, check out the Signings Page on my website for more information about each of these signings. I’d love to catch you at one of them.
